All animal projects have either validation tag deadlines and validation dates, except poultry. Poultry must be ordered by specific dates through your FFA. If you are new to animal projects, please review the following dates so that you can be prepared to purchase your animals and tags by the designated deadlines. 

Steers/Heifers

Tags are $17.00
Steer Validation will be held June 21 & 22,2021 @ 4:00-6:00
Heifer Validation June 21, 2021 10:00 AM and October 11, 2021 4:00-6:00 at the showbarn. 

Hogs

Validation tags orders are due *tentatively* September 15, 2021, and are $17 a piece. Late tags are $35. 
Validation will be held November 18 & 19, 2021  from 4-6 at the show barn.  

Lambs/Goats

Validation tags orders are due *tentatively* September 1, 2021 and are $17 a piece. Late tags are $35. 
Validation will be held in October 18 & 19, 2021 4:00- 6:00

Rabbits

Rabbit validation is usually the first Sunday in January at the wilson county extension annex. 
 

Poultry

Turkey orders are due by April 15.  Turkeys are $4.25 a piece. Pick up date is November 10th 2021.
Pick-up dates, in November, will be provided once they are finalized with the Extension Office.
